Gen Y's Jobless Aren't Crying in Their Martinis, They're Networking Online

Supposedly, according to New American Media, layed-off workers representing Generation Y (from 1974-1994) are networking on the Internet in order to find a way to get used to the tough economy, while hopefully getting another job.

They use a FaceBook group, known as the LaidOffCamp. The group has spread over many cities throughout the United States, and its first event will be in March 3rd in San Francisco.

Some things they tackle include how to handle personal finances in our cash-strapped economy, and how to sell yourself while presenting your best image. What a great way to network!
